1-YO Dies From Abuse Injuries

HUDSON, Mich. — An Ypsilanti, Mich., man has been charged with first-degree child abuse stemming from injuries to a 1-year-old Hudson boy, who later died at Toledo Children’s Hospital. The child, LeRoy Beals, was seriously injured about 8:45 p.m. Monday at his Division Street home where his mother’s boyfriend, Timothy Martin, 25, was babysitting.
