Bully Boyfriend Who Murdered Girlfriend Receives 19-Yr Sentence

Jack Wall, 22, beat hairdresser Amelia Arnold, 19, over the head with a dumbbell eight times – just a day after she had tried to report him for domestic violence.  With their baby daughter screaming just meters away, Wall tried to break Miss Arnold’s neck and strangle her – later claiming the horrific act was not as easy as it looked ‘in the movies’. NYPD cold case detectives are seeking help from the public to identify the little girl dubbed ‘Baby Hope’ whose body was found inside a cooler off the Henry Hudson Parkway in 1991. On Tuesday, the 22nd anniversary of the unsolved crime, police circulated the neighborhood around Dyckman Street in Washington Heights near the wooded area where the child was found, speaking to residents and offering a $12,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction. The discovery by highway workers of a little girl, believed to be between three and five years old, tied with rope and squeezed into a picnic cooler beneath full cans of Coca-Cola struck a nerve with police and residents alike. 130715030917_willard wigfieldOHIO — The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Willard Wigfield. Wigfield is wanted by the U.S. Marshals and the Lake County Sheriff’s Office for the rape of a child under the age of 15. Wigfield is believed to be hiding somewhere in Northern Ohio or Florida. The jury is still out. A federal court of appeals this week overturned an Indiana law that prohibited sex offenders from using Facebook and other social media networks. But that doesn’t mean potential predators have easy access to Facebook. It’s not the first time a state law has been ruled unconstitutional because it infringed on the right to free speech. Facing a similar ruling, Louisiana in August passed a law that requires convicted sex offenders to include their sex offender status in their profiles, as well as the type of offense and where it occurred. imagesCrime Stoppers is offering a $2,500 reward for information that leads to the killer of a young Macomb County couple. Tony Velez, 22, and his his girlfriend, 19-year-old Rosemary Chyz, were found dead in a field on Detroit’s east side on Oct. 24. Police say they had been robbed, their pockets turned inside out and their hands tied. Dying Killer Denies Child Murder

skynews_1550511230Forty-five years after schoolgirl Linda Stilwell disappeared from a Melbourne beach, dying killer, Derek Percy, has reportedly denied killing the seven year old. Percy, who is Victoria’s longest serving prisoner, is dying of cancer in a secure ward of St Vincent’s Hospital. He is understood to have denied any involvement in Linda’s death during an emergency bedside hearing of the Coroner’s Court, Fairfax reports. Percy, 64, has previously said he could not remember if he killed the seven-year-old, who disappeared from the St Kilda foreshore in 1968. She remains in custody. Navarro allegedly shackled her son because she did not want him “running the streets and getting into trouble or mixed up with the wrong group of kids while she was at work,” the statement said. mens-beltThe suicide of a 6-year-old Payette boy has disturbed many in the community and left many wondering if a child so young is even capable of such an act.  At around 6:20 p.m. on June 3, Payette police received a call from a frantic mother that her son had attempted suicide and was non-responsive. This is only the fourth confirmed case of a 6-year-old committing suicide in the United States since 2007, Payette Police Chief Mark Clark said. 8533729-1-150007Las Vegas police charged a man Tuesday in the death of a 1-year-old boy. Bransen Locks, 36, who was in custody on unrelated arrest warrants, was charged with murder in the death of Bently Olsen after police said he caused injuries to the boy consistent with shaken baby syndrome. Bently was rushed to University Medical Center from Locks’ home in the 2600 block of Tenaya Way, near Smoke Ranch Road, in the early morning hours of May 19 with what medical personnel described as severe head injuries, including bleeding in the brain and “a noticeable midline shift of the brain.” Bently died on May 26 from his injuries.
