A Harper man was handed 34 stacked life sentences in a Kerr County courtroom Thursday after prosecutors said he repeatedly raped a child, recorded the molestations and, in a separate case, shot a neighbor’s miniature horse.

Christopher Michael Donihoo, 36, would have to serve more than 1,000 years before he could be eligible for parole for the aggravated sexual assault of a child charges.

A Harlingen man is behind bars after he allegedly raped a 15-year-old girl.

Harlingen police arrested 27-year-old Jesus Gonzalez on a sexual assault of a child charge Tuesday night.

FREDERICK – A 13-year-old boy has been placed in a state juvenile dentention center after his grandmother allegedly caught him raping his seven-year-old cousin this past week.

The boy who is from Manitou, may have assaulted the girl who is from Tipton, two other times in recent weeks, stated Tillman County Sheriff Bobby Whittington.

An 11-year-old girl was raped early Thursday by a guest in her family’s southeast Atlanta home, police said.

Police officers were called to the home on Harper Road, off Browns Mill Road, about 3:45 a.m., Officer Curtis Davenport told the AJC.

BENTON COUNTY — It’s a guilty verdict for the former Benton County firefighter charged with raping and molesting five girls.

Robert Trainor now faces a minimum of 20 years in prison. His victims were not in the courtroom, but some of Trainor’s family and friends were. They were visibly upset after the verdict was read. The defense had tried to argue the victims were making the story up, but that didn’t work with the jury.

Johnson County Sheriff’s deputies found a malnourished 6-year-old boy in an attic Tuesday night, hours after his 26-year-old mother, Rachel L. Perez, was arrested.

A relative was worried about the boy, so deputies did a welfare check at a De Soto home in the 8200 block of Center Drive Tuesday evening around 5. The boy’s mother claimed he wasn’t home, and deputies arrested her on an outstanding warrant. Hey, would a mother lie? Apparently so.

Scottsdale, AZ – A woman called 911 Monday morning to report that she’d seen “an elderly man” in her neighborhood molesting a young girl. “Um i just saw an elderly man in my neighborhood that I’m not familiar with,” she told the dispatcher. The dispatcher asked the woman to describe what she had seen. “He had her up in a tree… it was very shocking… I tried to follow, he clearly saw me, I don’t think he was sure whether I clearly saw what he was doing, I definitely did.” The caller went on to say the man had the little girl up in a tree and she was naked from the waist down.

CLAREMONT, N.H. — A 2-year-old girl was brought to the hospital by her father, Jason Longley, 22, because he thought she was having seizures. Medical staff called police after they found the girl was bleeding in her eyes and brain, suffering from a severe skin infection on her face, and had bruising patterns her father explained as being self-inflicted.

MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) — James Auchincloss — who as a boy carried the wedding train of his half sister Jackie up the aisle as she married John F. Kennedy — was jailed Wednesday after admitting to possessing child pornography.

Auchincloss, 63, pleaded guilty to two felony counts of encouraging child sex abuse, the charge generally brought against people possessing child pornography, for having computer images of naked boys.

LORAIN, Ohio – Authorities have arrested a Lorain man after police find five children reported missing by their families in a shed in the man’s backyard. According to officials with the Lorain Police Department, Kenneth Freeman, 39, was arrested at his home around 2:00 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Police say when they arrived at Freeman’s home they found at least 10 children hiding inside the shed. Authorities say the children ranged in age from 12-17, and at least five had been reported missing by their families.

A mother told aviation police she slapped her crying 13-month-old daughter on a flight between Dallas and Albuquerque because the child kicked her, authorities said.

The explanation came after Southwest Airlines flight attendant Beverly McCurley reported taking the child from the mother during Monday’s flight after seeing the child slapped on the face and hearing passengers complain.

The incident has sparked an online debate about when onlookers should intervene in child discipline.
