Beaten Baby was Kept in Closet
DALLAS – A trial began Tuesday in the case of Franzwa Miller, who allegedly beat his baby to death and kept her in a closet for most of her short life.
Mesquite police arrested the 24-year-old in June 2009 after paramedics responded to a call at his Mesquite home. They took 4-month-old Leah Miller to a hospital, where doctors determined she suffered blunt force trauma to her head and ribs.
