PHOENIX, Ariz. (AZFamily) — A teacher at Paradise Valley High School has been arrested for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old female student at the school.

Police said the student’s mother knew about and allowed her daughter and the teacher to engage in the sexual conduct at her residence.

The teacher has been identified as Jordan Doneskey, 26. Police are not releasing the mother’s identity in order to protect the name of the minor in this case.

MUNCIE, INDIANA – A two-month-old baby is fighting for his life after investigators say his father abused him. The child has a left skull fracture, bruises under the eye, bleeding in the brain and a host of old injuries. Now, Phillip Adkins is behind bars in Delaware County on charges of battery and neglect of a dependent. Court documents 24-Hour News 8 obtained say Adkins told police “he has anger issues and was frustrated and mad” the day he hurt his little boy, Michael Adkins.

JACKSONVILLE – A Marine based in Onslow County was charged with raping an 11-year-old girl July 21, finding the victim through social networking website Skout.com. According to police investigations, three other men across the country are accused of using the same site to rape under-aged victims.

A child rapist, who attacked three young children in a ‘truly abhorrent’ way, was caught by police when they saw a porn film playing through the letterbox of his house after he lured the children there. Darren Mackrell, 45, pleaded guilty to raping the children he had drugged and forced to sexually abuse each other while he watched in a six-hour ordeal. In what Judge Gary Burrell QC called a ‘truly abhorrent thing to do’, two boys aged eight and ten years old, and a girl, nine, were lured to Mackrell’s flat in Southampton, Hampshire, after he approached them in a nearby park.

A former police sergeant accused of molesting the children he adopted, has struck a bargain with prosecutors that will allow him to go free from jail in just a year. Maurice A. Martinez, 46, of Oklahoma City, was a foster father to some 60 children and a city lawman but on Tuesday he pleaded guilty to nine felony counts of sexual abuse against a child. He was arrested in April 2011, bringing to light a sordid saga of sexual abuse.

A teenager held captive in a house for more than three years before escaping with a relative’s help initially went there voluntarily but wasn’t allowed to leave when she wanted to go home, an Illinois police chief said on Friday. Washington Park Police Chief David Clark said the 19-year-old St. Louis woman bolted from the home on Monday and told investigators her time in captivity included almost daily beatings and sexual assaults. One of those attacks resulted in a now-2-year-old boy rescued when a police SWAT team raided the home next to a gas station on Thursday and arrested a 25-year-old man and his mother.

On Wednesday night, 26-year old Concepcion Rodriguez was arrested by Corpus Christi officials when her 15-month old child was found unconscious, strapped in his car seat for three hours, while the car boiled to 104 degrees. According to The Sacramento Bee, the father of the child realized he was missing when he came home and found him in the SUV. Temperatures had been in the 90s that day.

ST. JOSEPH, MI. -An Amber Alert has been issued for a missing 2-year-old west Michigan girl. The Michigan State Police say Chloe West, of St. Joseph, was abducted by a non-custodial parent. She went missing Thursday. Police say she is endangered. According to the St. Joseph Police Department, she was last seen with Lisa Lynn West, 40, who police say lost her parenting rights when a court terminated them.

When Felix disappeared he was almost three years old. Until today there is no trace of him! The father must have stayed somewhere with his son from Jan. 6th to Jan. 8th 2006. Somebody must have seen them.

An armed man is dead after police say he fatally shot a former coworker and wounded multiple civilians outside the Empire State Building this morning. Police Commissioner Ray Kelly says at 9:03 a.m. the gunman, identified as Jeffrey Johnson, 58, of Manhattan confronted a former boss at Hazan Imports located at 10 West 33rd Street. Johnson, armed with a .45-caliber handgun, then allegedly fired three shots at his victim, identified as Steve Ercolino, 41.

A catalogue of police failings allowed a sadistic killer to murder his ex-partner and daughter, an investigation has found. Officers took ‘inadequate action’ to arrest David Oakes, 50, before he shot Christine Chambers, 38, and Shania, two, at their home in Braintree, Essex, the police watchdog concluded. Oakes, of Steeple, near Maldon, was given two whole-life jail terms after being found guilty of the murders, which happened in June last year.

GREECE, NY — The upstate New York school bus monitor who received hundreds of thousands of dollars in donations after a video of her being harassed by students went viral has decided to use some of the proceeds to start her own anti-bullying foundation. Now retired, Karen Klein, 68, has decided to start her own campaign, called the Karen Klein Anti-Bullying Foundation, on the website giveback.org. “This is for education, for people who have been bullied,” Klein told CNN affiliate WROC.

BROOKLYN and THE BRONX, NY —The expression “date from hell” is arguably overused, but in the case of a date between an NYPD traffic cop and a 17 year-old girl, the phrase seems very fitting, if charges from sex crimes investigators prove to be true. Detectives say that Traffic Enforcement Officer Charles Taylor, 25, drugged the girl and raped her in a case that spans 15 miles and two boroughs.
