YOSEMITE, CA — National Parks Service search-and-rescue crews say they have recovered the body of 6-year-old Jacob Adams who disappeared along with his brother in the Merced River in Yosemite. The child’s body was found not far from where swift currents caught and carried away the boy and his brother last week.

31-year-old, Casey Dickerson, provided a group of teenage boys and a 15-year-old girl with alcohol while on a Carnival Cruise. He, along with the boys, then sexually attacked the girl. According NY Daily News, Dickerson publicly denied the attack, however admitted that he did supply teens with the alcohol. After complaining about noise, Dickerson and his wife were given a second room, but still allowed to keep their first. It was in that room that he lured the boys and the 15-year-old girl and her friend.

Brian Cooper, 35, suffocated pregnant 21-year-old Alisha Bromfield while they were staying in Sand Bay Beach Resort during his sister’s wedding. The two had reportedly dated in the past, but went to the wedding as friends. Cooper became infuriated after he and Alisha discussed the state of their relationship, and Alisha did not want to get back together.

It’s been a long winding road for presumed child killer Casey Anthony who this evening at midnight will find herself technically free once her one year probation related to check fraud charges ends, this as offered by her civil defense attorney Charles Greene. That of course might not mean much as Ms Anthony is widely presumed guilty by many for the death of her daughter Caylee Anthony despite her acquittal of first degree murder July of 2011 which brought immediate condemnation by lawmakers, the media and many onlookers who felt Ms Anthony was complicit in the death of her daughter.

(CNN) — An infant abducted Thursday afternoon from a Pittsburgh hospital has been found and reunited with his mother, officials said. Spokeswoman Diane Richard of the Pittsburgh police confirmed the recovery hours after a woman not believed to be a hospital employee took the baby. CNN affiliate WPXI said the 3-day-old baby was taken from Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC. Wendy Zellner, a UPMC spokeswoman, told CNN the abduction occurred as the family was preparing for the infant to be discharged.

A man is in jail on $500,000 bail today after being arrested by San Jose police on suspicion of murdering a 17-month-old boy in April. Police arrested 38-year-old Alejandro Benitez, of San Jose, on Friday in connection with an incident in which police and firefighters responded to reports of an infant in distress in the 2100 block of Mendota Way around 2:20 p.m. on April 4. The boy was unresponsive when they arrived, and later died at Regional Medical Center of San Jose. Police said Benitez was the boyfriend of the child’s babysitter, who was taking care of him at her Mendota Way home.

Delano, CA – Cesar Osuna, a former Delano, California man accused of beating his girlfriend’s 2-year-old son to death, suffered a gruesome death after he was found impaled on a fence. New information has been released after the conviction of a mother, 23-year-old Noemi Mendoza, who reportedly left her 2-year-old son in the custody of a man she knew to be dangerous. According to police, Cesar Osuna fled from the scene after he allegedly used a blunt object to beat his girlfriend’s 2-year-old son to death.

LOS ANGELES — Antibiotics were made available for porn actors after an outbreak of syphilis prompted a nationwide moratorium on adult film production. The Los Angeles-based Free Speech Coalition plans to test all performers for the disease and said on its website that antibiotics would be available at locations in Van Nuys, Las Vegas and Fort Lauderdale. The industry group called for the halt in production Saturday after reporting one performer had tested positive for syphilis. The Los Angeles County Public Health Department is investigating at least five cases of syphilis related to the adult film industry. The porn industry has been temporarily shut down due to the recent outbreak.

Nine months after he was ousted as president of Penn State University, Graham Spanier has gone on record citing bouts of child abuse he experienced growing up. In an exclusive interview with ABC News’ Josh Elliott scheduled to air Wednesday night, Spanier chronicled the extensive abuse he suffered at his father’s hands, which required four surgeries to correct breathing problems and injuries to his head. “It resulted in, of course, some emotional scarring, but also some substantial physical damage,” Spanier told Elliott.

Christopher Vaughn, a husband and father of three, shot his entire family to death in order to free himself of responsibility. Vaughn planned to escape to Canada, where he could live alone. According to Daily Mail, the bodies of the three children, aged 12, 11, and 8 and mother Kimberly Vaughn were found in the family’s SUV on the side of a highway in Illinois.

Mothers were stunned to learn their children were being forced to fight one another at the Hands of Our Future Daycare in Dover, Denver. Lisa Parker, 47, Estefania Myers, 21, and Tiana Harris, 19, were arrested for allegedly organizing fights between the toddlers and forcing them to participate.

CAMDEN, N.J. — Child welfare authorities in New Jersey say they had been regularly monitoring and providing counseling to a woman who police say decapitated her 2-year-old son. A statement from the Department of Children and Families says Chevonne Thomas received “extensive” support from the agency after recently regaining custody of the boy. Police say they found the body of young Zahree Thomas early Wednesday on the first floor of his mother’s Camden home and his head in the freezer.

Tirza Magana, a 48-year-old nanny, was arrested on charges of child endangerment after surveillance footage revealed her smothering, throwing, and carelessly handling a 7-month-old baby. The unidentified parents had suspected wrongdoing when they noticed their 7-month-old daughter had been, “acting strangely,” as Imperfect Parent reported.

A mother is facing life in jail after being convicted of raping her baby daughter from birth until she was 18-months-old. Melissa Bailey was convicted by a jury who took just two hours to reach their verdict. The 29-year-old was convicted on all six charges of abusing her daughter and allowing her 62-year-old boyfriend to join in the assaults. A jury in Port Charlotte rejected Bailey’s insanity defense that she had no control of her actions.
