Gaskill, who had fostered about 75 different children over the years, was ordered to be held on a $50 million cash bond yesterday (Sat., Feb. 4) for allegedly sexually assaulting two of his female foster children. TEMECULA  — A Temecula woman was sentenced Friday to 19 years to life in prison for driving under the influence in a crash that killed her 9-year-old daughter. Karen Faye Honeycutt, 41, admitted to drunk driving and pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter in the death of her daughter, Chloe Honeycutt, in January 2011. Two 16-year-old girls who were ‘kidnapped’ in the middle of the night by two boys they met online have been found.  Teenagers Amber Henry and Kirsten Kamradt were discovered by U.S. marshals and FBI agents after they were forced across state lines by the 19-year-old boys. The two girls, who are from Georgia, went missing from their homes early on Wednesday. MILWAUKEE — About 550 people are asking for restitution for alleged sexual abuse by clergy in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee — more than in any of the other U.S. dioceses that have filed for bankruptcy protection, according to a lawyer involved in the Milwaukee case. The Milwaukee Archdiocese filed for bankruptcy protection last year, saying pending sex-abuse lawsuits could leave it with debts it couldn’t afford.  READ MORE HERE

Could Be Due To Brain Infection

Frantic parents of the now 15 teens who have been showcasing worrying Tourette-like symptoms are looking for answers as to what exactly is making their children sick. Over the weekend, lawyer Erin Brockivich hypothesized that environmental toxins may be to blame, though officials have reportedly stonewalled her up to this point. But now researchers are now looking into a new explanation – that infections caused by bacteria or viruses can cause also infect the brain, leading to onsets of Tourette’s and obsessive-compulsive disorder. Convinced 11-Year-Old Girl To Strip On Webcam

A 61-year-old Danish man confessed to intimidating and harassing an 11-year-old girl online and trying to convince her to send him naked pictures of herself. The man, Kai Ludrstroem Pedersen, found the girl through Facebook and extorted her into make child pornography. The girl, whose name is being withheld by the courts because of her age, began talking with the man in June 2010 when she believed he was a 14-year-old boy. Second Teacher Removed

LOS ANGELES — A second teacher at an inner-city elementary school where a teacher is accused of committing lewd acts on 23 children was arrested Friday on suspicion of fondling two girls in his classroom. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Capt. Mike Parker said Martin B. Springer, 49, of Alhambra was arrested four days after allegations surfaced against the first teacher, but there was no known connection between the two cases. Springer was being held on $2 million bail. The expanding case has shocked the nation and thrown a chill into its second-largest school district, with 650,000 students across hundreds of campuses.
