SYDNEY – A mobile phone belonging to a maths tutor charged with sexually assaulting his underage clients may help police identify up to 40 possible victims of the 66-year-old. Police have uncovered evidence which could suggest that Quy Huy Hoang could have come in to contact with more than the six children he has has been accused of sexually assaulting between 2007 and 2014. Up to 40 Images of underage boys and girls have allegedly surfaced on his phone which police seized during a dramatic arrest outside his Greystanes home, in Sydney’s west, earlier this month. Police hunt for father who brutally beat 3-yo son – posted images on social networking site

CHINA – A father who brutally beat his three-year-old son before posting graphic images of the child’s bruised body on the internet in a warped bid to force his estranged wife to return, is being hunted by police. Twisted Zhong Lo, 36, from Shantou city in south China’s Guandong Province posted pictures of the toddler on the Weibo website after apparently submitting him to six months of constant beatings. In chilling messages to his estranged wife Cai Lifen, 20, who left him in January this year, he begged her to return before falsely claiming to have beaten the child to death. Dad accused of killing 10-week-old son claims his miniature dachshund caused him to fall on the boy

MICHIGAN – A dad accused of killing his 10-week-old baby has claimed that his miniature dachshund tripped him, causing him to fall on the child. The murder trial of Anthony Casanova, 41, began in Muskegon, Michigan on Tuesday, 20 months after the death of his baby son, Tyler, at their home in Norton Shores in January 2013. Casanova has claimed he was holding Tyler in one arm and letting his dog in through a glass door, when the pet ran between his legs, tripping him and causing him to drop the baby on the carpet and then fall on top of him, Mlive reported. But in court, jurors heard how, during a three-hour interview with cops, Casanova eventually said that he had squeezed the crying baby twice before hitting his head against a bed multiple times. CHARLOTTESVILLE, Virginia — Police say they have captured the man charged in the disappearance of a University of Virginia student. Charlottesville Police Chief Timothy Longo said Wednesday that 32-year-old Jesse Leroy Matthew Jr. is in custody in Galveston, Texas. Homecoming Queen Gives Bullied Friend Her Crown

It wasn’t the crown that stole the spotlight at a North Texas high school’s homecoming ceremony last week, but rather the friendship between three very special young women. Anahi Alvarez was named Grand Prairie High School’s Homecoming Queen on Friday, but the 17-year-old didn’t bask in the limelight for even a moment. That’s because she and her friend Naomi Martinez, who had also been nominated for the honor, had promised each other that if they won they’d give the crown to a very important person in their lives: their best friend, Lillian Skinner. According to NBC Dallas-Fort Worth, Skinner — a beloved student who is known for her cheerful energy and kind spirit — had been bullied by a group of girls prior to Friday’s event. Wanted poster for Hannah Graham suspect is issued

A wanted poster was issued today for a nursing assistant described as a ‘person of interest’ in the case of missing University of Virginia student Hannah Graham. Detectives were also seen on Monday returning to search the apartment of Jesse ‘LJ’ Matthew in Charlottesville.  The 32-year-old is wanted on two counts of reckless driving for speeding away from the police station on Sunday. A massive search is underway for four young siblings who police believe were snatched by their allegedly abusive parents after they bonded out of jail. The sisters, one-year-old Mendy, two-year-old Evelin, five-year-old Jackelyn and six-year-old Kimberly, were last seen at their home in Canton, Mississippi on September 7. The girls had been put into state protective custody after their mother and stepfather were arrested on abuse and neglect charges but authorities believe the couple took them after being released. ‘We have every reason to believe the children are in danger,’ Canton Assistant Police chief Juan Cloy said. FLORIDA — Six children and two adults, including the shooter, are dead after a mass shooting in Florida, authorities said. Don Spirit, 51, reportedly gunned down his adult daughter and her six children inside his Bell home, Gilchrist County Sheriff Robert Schultz said in a Thursday evening press conference. Local media is reporting the other adult victim is 28-year-old Sarah Spirit, but he declined to confirm. Donald Spirit called 911 around 4:00 p.m. and “made reference to harming people and himself,” said Schultz. Police want to speak to man seen with Hannah Graham just after 1am

Missing UVA student Hannah Graham was followed by at least one man as she walked through the Old Town area of Charlottesville in the early hours of Saturday morning, new video footage has revealed. Film taken from two separate cameras show a white male pursue the 18-year-old through the downtown mall area shortly after 1am. In the first clip the man looks over his shoulder, steps into a doorway and appears to hide from Hannah as she walks past before following her. The Charlottesville Police Department is investigating a missing person incident involving a University of Virginia student, Hannah Elizabeth Graham.

Hannah is a white female and 18 years old. She is approximately 5’11” tall with a skinny build. She has blue eyes, light brown hair and has freckles. She was last seen wearing a black crop top with mesh cut outs. The last contact she had with friends was via text message at 1:20 a.m. on September 13, 2014.

Authorities have yet to identify the culprit and its also not clear exactly how he or she got access to these women’s accounts, with iCloud the most widely reported service suspected of being breached. As the world digests the shocking breach of privacy, one common sentiment seems to be that anyone careless enough to take naked photos in digital form should be prepared for the embarrassment of having them leak. “Also raises the awareness that you shouldn’t be putting nudes of yourself online…Maybe the lesson learnt from this should be “don’t be stupid”,” read a comment since deleted on The Verge. This is shameful logic, trying to shift the blame back onto the victims.
