An ex-hospital worker who fled the US seven years ago after allegedly molesting a 9-year-old girl and attempting to lure her friends into his car for a sick sexual game was finally in custody last night. Former hospital worker, Peter Belegrinos, 30, from Astoria, New York, was charged in 2005 with attempted kidnapping, sexual abuse, assault and endangering the welfare of a child after he allegedly groped and punched a 9-year-old girl inside Astoria Park, according to The New York Post. A couple have been charged for beating the woman’s 15-year-old son with a skillet, punching him in the head and binding with duct tape as punishment, according to Cincinnati Police. Summer Wallzs has been charged with felonious assault and unlawful restraint in the alleged attack at her Riverside, Ohio, home on July 11, according to Hamilton County Municipal Court records. First, Kilah Davenport’s doctors said she wouldn’t live. Then they said she would remain in a vegetative state, according to her family. But 3-year-old Kilah, who in May was beaten almost to death, left Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte Thursday in a pink tutu. More than a decade after he allegedly raped and impregnated a 15-year-old girl at a Southwest Side temple, a Buddhist monk was charged with the crime. Camnong Boa-Ubol, 62, appeared in Cook County Circuit Court in Bridgeview Friday morning where he was ordered held on $5 million bail by Judge Peter Felice.  READ MORE HERE

GARDEN GROVE– Police in Orange County have arrested a bible teacher on charges of molestation. Christopher Guardado was taken into custody after two girls, under the age of 14, contacted police and said he molested them repeatedly over the course of two years. Rhonda Eisenberg, a Spanish teacher at North Ridge High School in Greeley, Colorado has admitted to an illicit affair with her 17-year old student from Mexico, with whom she now has a child. According to Greeley Tribune, the 44-year-old has confessed to as many as 30 sexual encounters with the minor while he was under her legal guardianship in 2010.  READ MORE HERE

MASS SHOOTING AT COLORADO MOVIE THEATER

The number of casualties makes the incident the largest mass shooting in U.S. history.

Twelve people were killed and 71 were injured in Aurora, Colo., during a sold-out midnight premier of the new Batman movie “The Dark Knight Rises” when 24-year-old James Holmes unloaded four weapons’ full of ammunition into the unsuspecting crowd. The number of casualties makes the incident the largest mass shooting in U.S. history.

Holmes, a graduate student at a nearby college with a clean arrest record, entered the movie auditorium wearing a ballistics helmet, bullet-proof vest, bullet-proof leggings, gas mask and gloves. He detonated multiple smoke bombs, and then began firing at viewers in the sold-out auditorium, police said today.  READ MORE HERE

A REWARD is on offer for information about the mystery disappearance of a teenage girl who went missing from a bikie clubhouse more than a decade ago. Kathleen Harris, 15, was last seen on Sunday, May 31, 1999, at her home which adjoined the Rebels clubhouse in Huskisson, NSW. She was reported missing by her friend Clinton Hanlon, a member of the bikie gang, and her father after she failed to show up at a pre-arranged meeting with friends the following day. Mother and her roommate ‘starved daughter, 8, to death and chained her siblings to radiators after falling under spell of religious cult’

A mother and her roommate stand accused of starving one of her children to death, chaining the girl and her younger siblings to radiators and leaving their broken bones untreated. Venette Ovilde, 30, and her friend Myriam Janvier, 24, both pleaded not guilty on Tuesday to the murder of eight-year-old Christiana Glenn, who was found dead in May 2011 at their apartment. Acquaintances said the death occurred after the two women began acting increasingly bizarrely as they were swayed by the religious teachings of a local man, who made them fast and wear all white. A mother of three from Houston, Texas, has been accused of killing her four-year-old son by whipping him to death after the boy wet himself in the family car over the weekend. The State Senate on Wednesday unanimously approved Erin’s Law, legislation sponsored by John Proos that’s designed to help prevent child sexual abuse.
