Condoms are meant to protect you. But instead they’re creating quite the controversy. From being handed out to elementary school students to an anti-rape one being handed out at The World Cup.

Starting with the elementary school debate. A Massachusetts school district is going ahead with plans to hand out condoms to students without their parents consent or even being made aware that their child asked for one. The Provincetown School District voted unanimously, earlier this month, for a sex education policy allowing all children, as young as first grade, to talk to a counselor and get condoms without parental permission.

But this week, Governor Deval Patrick got involved, saying that sex education programs should be “age appropriate” and that “parents ought to be involved”.

Police in England believe a high-risk sex offender wanted for recall to prison may be in Northern Ireland.

Lancashire police have been searching for William John Paden, 56, since he left an agreed address in Blackpool.

Paden has 19 sexual convictions dating back to 1974, including rape, indecent assault on a child and assault with intent to rape.

He is thought to pose a significant risk of reoffending.

ADA, Okla. (AP) — A 39-year-old Allen man has received a 150-year prison term for sexually molesting a child.

A Pontotoc County convicted Lawrence Stewart June 2 on charges including rape and child molestation. The panel recommended 25 years each on two counts of lewd molestation; 25 years for first-degree rape by instrumentation; 20 years for forcible oral sodomy; 30 years for sexual abuse of a child and 25 years for first-degree rape.

SANTA ANA – The boyfriend of a mother accused of abusing her 2-year-old and 5-year-old sons has also been arrested in connection with participating in the abuse, police said Friday.

Mario Alberto Colin, 31, of Santa Ana, was arrested at 2:30 a.m. Friday at the Santa Ana apartment he shares with his wife and two young children, said Cpl. Anthony Bertagna.

DENVER — The mother of a 3-year-old girl whose body was found in a trash bag dumped in a ravine pleaded guilty Friday to child abuse and has agreed to testify against her former boyfriend.

The mother had initially claimed her daughter had been kidnapped. However, when questioned about it, she broke down and admitted to police that her 3-year-old was dead and stuffed in two plastic bags, according to arrest affidavits.

AMITY, Maine – Police need help locating a 1989 Ford F-150 pickup truck missing from the scene of a triple murder. Police say the bodies of a male, his 10-year-old son and another adult male were found stabbed to death in their home Wednesday night by a relative of one of the victims.

Pittsburgh – The FBI has charged 72-year-old Sherwood Stevenson with traveling with intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct after they say he molested a 6-year-old boy while in the jacuzzi of a Royal Caribbean ship. He admitted to agents that took the cruise so he could have a sexual encounter with a young boy.

North Little Rock – New charges for a North Little Rock man already in custody for taking sexually explicit photos of an underaged relative.

Police say Charles Coulter, 35, is now charged with raping the same relative, who is under ten-years-old.

William Page, a man had been charged with sexually assaulting and then abandoning his child in the frozen woods, will finally answer for his crime as he was sentenced Tuesday.
The actual case is sickening as reports state that Page became angry that his child, Nyia Page, kept taking off her diaper and as punishment he decided to rape her. After, he brought the child to the woods of Rankin, Pennsylvania and left her to suffer even more in 7-degree weather.
