OKLAHOMA – Police fear that two serial pedophiles arrested last month may have had more victims. Authorities in Muskogee, Oklahoma announced on Wednesday that they were searching for other potential victims of William ‘Frankie’ Dugan, 29, and 32-year-old Valerie Ojo. The couple were charged in March after they allegedly committed forcible sodomy, incest and exploitation against two children, aged 5 and 6.

Pennsylvania – The father of a 6-year-old girl whose teeth were so rotten her life was endangered pleaded guilty to reckless endangerment. Kenneth Wanamaker Jr, 37, pleaded guilty on Friday, weeks before a scheduled trial in the Northhampton County, Pennsylvania, case against him after the vast majority of his daughter’s teeth were found to be abscessed. A dentist had testified the girl’s teeth were in such bad shape they posed a potentially fatal threat to her health.

CLEVELAND, Ohio — A woman has been charged with misdemeanor child endangering after a weekend incident at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. The charge was filed in Cleveland Municipal Court after a 2-year-old boy was allegedly dangled and dropped into the cheetah exhibit Saturday. Michelle Schwab, the child’s mother, is expected in Cleveland Municipal Court on April 22. Schwab, 37, is a resident of Delaware, Ohio — a suburb north of Columbus.

The number of web pages containing child pornography has more than doubled over the past year. Researchers have also revealed the material features increasingly young children. Nine out of every ten images of child sexual abuse found online in 2014 showed children aged ten and under, according to the Internet Watch Foundation. That was a dramatic increase from the year before, when around two-thirds of the child porn it found featured children of such a young age. They were part of a worrying rise in the amount of child abuse the IWF discovered online. Overall, experts from the regulator removed more than 31,000 web pages featuring vile images of sexual abuse in 2014, soaring 136 per cent from around 13,000 the previous year.

CICERO, Illinois – A 23-year-old Cicero man has been charged in the beating death of his girlfriend’s 18-month-old child. Cicero police say Martin Alvarado Jr. struck the toddler multiple times about the body Thursday, causing the child’s death in the 1600-block of 49th Court. Police say Alvarado Jr. had become enraged when the child urinated on him while changing the baby’s diaper. Alvarado Jr. made incriminating statements and gave a video-taped confession of his actions that caused the death of the child during interviews with police, officials said.

CRYSTAL, Minnesota — A body found in the Mississippi River over the weekend has been identified as that of a 10-year-old Minnesota boy who has been missing for nearly a month, and police said Sunday that the boy’s father is a “primary suspect” as the case becomes a homicide investigation. Authorities said the body of Barway Collins was found Saturday, about 10 feet from the river’s edge in Brooklyn Center. Crystal, Minnesota, Police Chief Stephanie Revering said authorities have electronic evidence that shows the boy’s father, Pierre Collins, was in that area at the time the boy disappeared. She did not elaborate on the nature of that evidence.

A nine-year-old girl is pregnant after suffering horrific sexual abuse at the hands of Isis militants in northern Iraq, aid workers report. The Yazidi girl has recently been released after nearly a year as a prisoner in the Islamic State, where women and young girls from the religious minority are known to be kept as ‘sex slaves’. Earlier this week, more than 200 Yazidi women, children and elderly were released near Kirkuk, northern Iraq after being taken by Isis militants last June.

Former pupils have spoken of a number of incidents at Aberlour House, the preparatory school that was part of Gordonstoun in Moray in Scotland. These included the alleged rape of a 12-year-old girl and a boy who was molested by his teacher.

An alleged online sex offender accused of raping five children and involving 20 more in the making of child pornography has been charged with 145 child exploitation offences. The 47-year-old man from Warwick, 150km south-west of Brisbane, has been accused of sexually abusing 28 children from three states, including taking some of his victims to hotel rooms where he allegedly raped them. Police allege the man used a range of social media sites to prey on children under the age of 16 and in some cases arranged meetings so he could physically abuse them and use them to make child pornography.

Police in Bakersfield, California arrested a man who was caught on surveillance video abusing his son at a supermarket. The shocking incident happened around 2:30 Thursday afternoon. The video shows 23-year-old Justin Whittington running up to a toddler, slapping him in the face and knocking him to the ground. Whittington then yanks the boy off the floor as he hysterically begins to cry. A woman, possibly his mother, walks up and takes him outside as if nothing happened.

ELYRIA, Ohio — An infant’s parents have been charged with child endangering after police say they couldn’t agree which one would take care of their 3-month-old over the weekend and the father left her at a McDonald’s outside Cleveland. Twenty-two-year-old Rachel Jaajaa and 29-year-old Aaron Tate were arrested Monday. Police in Elyria say Jaajaa was leaving McDonald’s after her shift ended Friday and found Tate in the parking lot with the infant.

A Sacramento woman is accused of trying to kill her daughter by pouring gas on the girl and then setting her on fire. Truly terrifying. Neighbors of the suspect, 27-year-old Porche Wright, said they saw—and heard—the whole thing, and are still cringing at the gruesome memory. According to witnesses, Wright has a history of verbally abusing her children. In fact, she has a rap sheet that includes charges of disorderly conduct, domestic violence and prostitution.
