Rensselaer, NY —- An ex-con was arrested for possession of child pornography after a month long investigation by The FBI and local police. Jason T. Burnash, 30, was found to have more than 20,000 images of child porn on his personal laptop. He has no permanent residence and was picked up at a friend’s house.

BURLINGTON, Colo. — A 12-year-old boy suspected of killing his parents and seriously wounding his younger siblings may be charged as an adult for first degree murder. Bob Watson, the district attorney in the 13th Judicial District, says he plans to file formal charges in the case by Friday night, and then take some time to decide whether to charge the boy as a juvenile or try to charge him as an adult.

LOMITA — Homicide investigators are looking into the death of toddler who died while he was in the care of his mother’s boyfriend Thursday, police said. Police arrested 25-year-old Daniel Vega around 11:20 p.m. Thursday in West Covina. He was wanted for a parole violation and is being held without bail.

DELRAY BEACH, Fl. — Police are interviewing a suspect linked to the deaths of two children whose bodies were stuffed in luggage and found bobbing in a canal Wednesday. Detectives questioned Clem Beauchamp Thursday and stormed a house at his listed address, police said at a news conference. A distraught Beauchamp walked into the police department around 10 a.m. to talk to police. He waited in lobby, sitting with his head in his hands, rocking back and forth. Minutes later he followed detectives into another room.

SNOHOMISH COUNTY — It’s video no parent wants to see. It shows a Snohomish County School District bus driver yanking a 6-year-old girl to the ground and shouting at her. Q13 FOX News received the shocking video and now her parents want answers.

HESPERIA — Authorities searching for a missing girl believed to have run off with someone she met on the internet now say the teenager is safe. 13-year-old Jessie Bender, a student at Cedar Middle School in Hesperia, was last seen in the early hours morning of Feb. 22. Melissa said that Jessie had been late night chatting with a man she met on the internet.

PALMDALE– A 5-month old boy stabbed by his teenage father during a child abduction in Palmdale has died, authorities say. Palmdale Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to a report of a child abduction in Palmdale at about 11:00AM, Tuesday. An Amber Alert was issued for the child and his father, 17-year old Christopher Earl Glass, around 2:00 Tuesday afternoon.

OKLAHOMA CITY — A study commissioned by the watchdog group, Children’s Rights, details some disturbing trends at the Department of Human Services. “This report confirms absolutely that the DHS system is severely broken,” said Paul DeMuro, Children’s Rights attorney. Children’s Rights hired an independent group, the Center for the Support of Families, to put together the study. It tracked 374 children of the more than 7,400 in state custody.

A MURDER inquiry has been launched following the death of a paedophile prisoner at Full Sutton Prison on Tuesday evening. Humberside Police received a call from the prison service shortly before 7.30pm reporting that there was an incident ongoing at prison. Just after 8pm they received a further call stating that a 38-year-old man who had been involved in the incident had died.

A McAllen man accused in a child rape case spent weeks on the run but is now behind bars after being arrested in Mexico. U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers report that they took custody of Beau William Gamble over the weekend. The 43-year-old McAllen man is accused of four counts of sexual assault of a child.

HARRISBURG, PA- A suspect in the rape of a 12-year-old Dauphin County girl is back in the custody of Texas law enforcement officers after two days on the run. Lower Paxton Township police said King Samuel Williams was captured this morning by the Texas Rangers. Williams had escaped in Texas during his extradition from Arizona on Sunday by complaining that his shackles were too tight and overpowering the driver who had attempted to help him, police said.

A taskforce set up as part of the NI Executive’s inquiry into institutional child abuse is to hold a series of meetings this month. The Executive Taskforce on Historical Institutional Abuse will hold meetings in Armagh (7 March), Belfast (10 March) and Londonderry (22 March). It wants survivors of abuse to attend and give their views.

According to Jefferson Parish authorities, 40-year-old Janella Lewis claimed that she’d just been giving her 2-year-old grandson your standard, run-of-the-mill whuppin. Apparently, he’d been getting out of line. Two-year-olds are so willful, so full of fight, so strapping and wild that really, the only way to control them is to break them.
