Mark Kaczmarczyk, 59, and his 45-year-old wife Anita are charged with one felony count each of child abuse likely to produce great bodily harm and committing a lewd act on a child, and a misdemeanor count of child abuse.

An Internet pedophile ring with up to 70,000 members — thought to be the world’s largest —has been uncovered by police, a security official said Wednesday. The European police agency Europol said in a statement that “Operation Rescue” had identified 670 suspects and that 230 abused children in 30 countries had been taken to safety. More children are expected to be found, Europol said.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C.–A Davidson County woman faces felony child abuse charges after her one-year-old child was treated at a local hospital for burns to her feet. The Davidson County Sheriff’s Office said on Feb. 23, a one-year-old child was taken to Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center for treatment. Deputies said the child was treated for burns on her feet.

Paedophiles are increasingly using file hosting sites to distribute images and videos in a bid to bypass blocks on child abuse websites, an Internet watchdog has warned. YOUNGSVILLE — A 6-year-old Milton Elementary School kindergartener was killed Monday morning after attempting to get on the school bus and being dragged 20 feet along a rural paved road, authorities said. Lederion Miller suffered head injuries and died at a hospital, according to Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office and Lafayette Parish school system news releases.

Council Bluffs, Iowa—- A former youth pastor of Victory Fellowship Ministeries was arrested on a warrant by a fugitive task force in Omaha, Nebraska. Brent Girouex, 33, has been charged with 60 felony counts of “sexual exploitation by a counselor or therapist”.
