A 20-year-old Fond du Lac man is accused of fracturing the skull of a 2-year-old child. Thomas J. Abitz Jr. of 782 Security Drive, Apt. C-102, was charged Tuesday with felony bail jumping and child abuse-recklessly causing great harm. Fond du Lac County Circuit Court Judge Gary Sharpe set bail at $1,000.

PENNSYLVANIA–Two more priests have been placed on administrative leave by the Philadelphia Archdiocese as part of an ongoing investigation into the sexual abuse of children by clergy. Cardinal Justin Rigali, the archbishop of Philadelphia, announced that the two unnamed priests, who are currently retired, have been placed on administrative leave, effective immediately, pending a more thorough independent investigation.

LOUISVILLE, Ky.– A Louisville, Ky., grand jury indicted twin mothers of two stepbrothers for alleged child abuse tied to a case that left one boy dead and the other injured. Jeanette and Janet Allen, 22, were each charged with four felony counts for allegedly placing Christopher Allen, 2, and his half-brother Wyatt, also 2, in a potentially abusive situation amid “hazardous conditions” at home.

ROCK HILL – A Rock Hill couple is behind bars, their 7-month-old baby in protective custody, after deputies found the child in a home with an active meth lab. Deputies say this is the couple’s second arrest for making meth in the past year, the last time they were busted for making meth while she was 6-months pregnant. According to a York County Sheriff’s report, 38-year-old David Manny Henson Jr. and 42-year-old Bobbi Jo Wulf Henson were arrested Tuesday afternoon at 4:23 p.m., charged with making meth and child-abuse related charges.

The teacher entrusted by the district and parents is accused of abusing the 7th grader during school hours. 41-year-old Margaret Boyett is accused of forcing the 13-year-old student to punch himself in the head repeatedly.

BURBANK — A 38-year-old father was arrested after leaving his 14 month-old baby girl unattended in a 115 degree car, Wednesday. Officers arrived at the Costco store located on West Empire Avenue in Burbank and found a baby inside the vehicle, sitting in a car seat, sleeping and sweating.

Garfield, Arkansas –Thomas Carr, a 29-year-old Arkansas man was jailed Friday after he allegedly raped two young girls and then forced them to perform sex acts with the family dog. According to the Benton County Sheriff’s Office, Carr admitted to sexually abusing two girls, ages 6 and 7, and then forcing the children to perform sex acts on an animal.

Two Adults Charged For Human Trafficking

Police in Georgia have arrested a drag queen and her male stripper roommate of less than a year on human trafficking charges. Both Steven Donald Lemery, 35, a gay male stripper who uses the alias “Steven Lang” and Christopher Thomas Lynch, known as drag performer “Pasha Nicole”, have both been charged with numerous counts involving minors in the case.
