Disturbing, fresh details about the squalor and abuse endured by 11 children in the Texas ‘house of horrors’ have emerged in a new police report. According to testimony given by two of the children rescued from what appeared to be a regular house in a non-descript street in suburban Dayton, the victims were bound down to dirty mattresses, forced to sleep in rooms with no air and no light, and routinely beaten. Nine of the 11 were between the ages of five months and six years. They were all being neglected and abused in the house where ten adults also lived, the report shows. Meanwhile, it also emerged today that Child Protection Services, which took the children into emergency custody after they were seized on January 24, knew about the sordid living conditions as early as 2005.

LOUISVILLE, KY — Louisville Metro Police have arrested a man after they allegedly found illegal movies and images on his computer. According to an arrest report, 18-year-old Cody Huff used file-sharing programs to download movies of child pornography from the Internet. Police say a detective was able to download child pornography directly from Huff.

SANTA ANA — A registered sex offender accused of molesting a 5-year-old boy in a public restroom in October was sentenced Monday to nine years in federal prison for possession of child pornography. Nicholas James Needham pleaded guilty in federal court in October to one felony count each of lewd acts on a child under 14. He is expected to receive six years in prison when he is sentenced next month.

They taught her to dress and do her makeup. They helped her buy more attractive wigs. When they were done with her transformation, Paolilla was voted ‘Miss Irresistible’ by her class.

ANAHEIM, CA — Police arrested a 34-year-old man Monday on suspicion of pimping after following up on a tip from FBI agents of a child prostitute soliciting sex in an online ad. The FBI alerted the Anaheim Police Department of an online post soliciting sex featuring a 15-year-old girl, the Los Angeles Times reported.

Mother Injected Her Children With Heroin, Sent Them To School

A mother has been accused of injecting her teenage daughters with heroin before sending them off to school. Police were alerted after a witness from the school said the girls, aged 14 and 16, appeared to be under the influence of drugs. Investigators searched Parker’s home in Laurelville, Ohio, and recovered evidence of drug use. Parker, who spent two years studying for a nursing degree but never graduated, was not at home when a search warrant was issued.

Five Shot At Ohio High School

Five students have been injured in a shooting this morning at Chardon High School. According to the Geauga County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI, a suspect has been arrested. Scott Wilson of the FBI said they believe there was only one shooter, but the incident remains under investigation. Initial reports were that four students were shot. But at a news conference about 10:30 a.m., officials said there was a fifth victim. The youth who was arrested had fled the high school building, but was caught on Woodin Road in Chardon Township, a law officer said. The boy is being processed at the sheriff’s office, according to reports about 9 a.m. Both the sheriff’s office and Wilson declined to provide further detail of the events that unfolded in the high school cafeteria about 7:45 a.m.

Police are hunting a man who beat his girlfriend’s two-year-old son to death because he would not eat his dinner. Juan Garcia, 18, had moved in to the home of Wendy Rogel-Pagasa, 18, in Phoenix, Arizona, only days before he killed her son, Jorge, in a fit of rage. According to court documents released yesterday, Garcia became increasingly angry when the toddler would not eat the food he had brought home last Friday. Garcia gripped the boy by the ear and pulled him out of his bedroom.

Mount Clemens— A New Haven woman was found guilty Monday of fatally beating and sexually assaulting her toddler stepdaughter in November 2010. A jury convicted Renee Marie King, 30, of first-degree felony murder, child abuse and criminal sexual conduct in the Nov. 20, 2010, death of 2-year-old Lily Furneaux-Wolfenbarger. The jury of eight men and six women deliberated Monday afternoon after a two-week-long trial.

In October of last year, Grace Brown began a photography project called Project Unbreakable. Grace uses photography to help heal sexual abuse survivors by photographing them with posters that hold quotes from their attackers. Prominent Attorney Sentenced for Baby-Selling Scheme

SAN DIEGO — A prominent Poway attorney and a nurse were sentenced Friday for organizing a scheme to sell babies for $100,000 each. Theresa Erickson, 44, specialized in reproductive law. She pleaded guilty last year to a conspiracy to commit wire fraud. A San Diego federal judge sentenced Erickson to 5 months in prison followed by 7 months of home confinement. She was also fined $70,000 and must undergo 3 years of supervised release. Prosecutors said Erickson and others sold a dozen unborn babies to prospective parents for $100,000 each.
