TUNKHANNOCK – A 42-year-old Taylor man will serve 50 to 100 years in prison for sexually abusing five children, several of whom spoke at the man’s sentencing hearing Tuesday. Vincent Clark’s oldest victim, a 15-year-old girl, began to cry while addressing the Wyoming County President Judge Russell Shurtleff at the hearing Tuesday, suggesting a death sentence would be appropriate. Another victim, a 13-year-old girl, said Mr. Clark should “not have the satisfaction of walking on this earth” for all that she lost the last five years of her life.

MODESTO, CA — James Hooker, the former Enochs High School teacher who made national headlines after leaving his wife and family for an 18-year-old student, has been arrested for alleged sex abuse of a minor. Modesto Police investigators say Hooker was in a romantic relationship with a different girl when she was 17.

The tragic death of a girl diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy was due to severe neglect and malnutrition on the part of her mother and other caregivers. Angela Norman, 42, of Dayton, Ohio, pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter on Friday after her daughter, Makayla, died in March 2011 from nutritional and medical neglect.

Denise Wilder, 37, arrested Wednesday for alledgedly killing her 2-year-old daughter McKinley Wilder could be facing child neglect and murder charges, if the autopsy report, that has yet to be done, shows foul play. According to The Sacramento Bee, family members reported Denise Wilder missing last Wednesday. She was found at her parents’ home intoxicated by a relative along with an unresponsive McKinley and police were called.

BOWLING GREEN — A 2-year-old girl whose death in March was ruled a homicide Wednesday had signs on her body of previous abuse, authorities said. Emma Zehnpfennig, who lived in Bowling Green with her elder sister, mother, and mother’s boyfriend, died March 1 after spending seven days on life support at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Lucas County Deputy Coroner Dr. Diane Scala-Barnett said.

An adviser to Britain’s police chiefs downloaded more than 100,000 images of child porn – including a guide on how to abuse infants. Among Nicholas White’s sickening collection were images of youngsters being forced into sex acts with animals. The 28-year-old was jailed for six months after he admitted 18 counts of making indecent images of children, two counts of possession of indecent images of children and two counts of possessing extreme pornography.

LIVONIA, Mich. (WJBK) — A jilted boyfriend told by his girlfriend their relationship was over snaps with an axe and a gun. Sources close to the investigation describe a bloody scene inside a home on Sunnydale near Five Mile and Inkster Road in Livonia. Police say 19-year-old Brian Douglas White went to the home of his 17-year-old ex-girlfriend.

A Dieruff High School math teacher offered a 16-year-old student extra credit if she texted him pictures of herself naked, police say. Timothy C. Moll, 25, told the girl by text message that if she sent him the pictures and he was “turned on,” she could earn extra points toward her grade, according to an arrest affidavit. The 2005 Dieruff graduate also sent several texts of a sexual nature to the girl for two weeks starting Jan. 17, the court record states.

FONTANA, CA — Police in Fontana are searching for a suspect they say grabbed a woman along a busy street and tried to pull her into his car. The 22-year-old victim was walking south on Sierra Avenue on Wednesday when she realized she was being followed by a man in a blue car. The suspect then pulled in front of her, jumped out of the car, and tried to get a hold of her, according to police. She was able to escape and snap several pictures of her alleged attacker with a cell phone. He is described as Hispanic, between 35 and 40 years old, and about 225 pounds.

MORENO VALLEY — A school board member from the Inland Empire already charged with attempted murder is facing 11 new felonies, including rape, pimping and pandering. 42-year-old Mike Luis Rios is a board member for the Moreno Valley Unified School District. He was arrested around 6 p.m. Wednesday when Moreno Valley police pulled him over outside his home on Palm Shadows Drive.

Two Tulsa women were charged on Monday with child neglect in connection to the death of a battered toddler. Micca Shoate and Jazmin William , both 22, were found with the severely beaten body of nineteen month old Zamontay Green in the backseat of their car during a March 25th pull over. The two claimed to be on their way to a hospital after Green began exhibiting strange behavior and spitting up blood.

A mother murders her disabled daughter by feeding her M&M’s. Veronica Cirella, 31, has been accused of killing her daughter after feeding Julie, her eight-year-old disabled daughter who suffered from a peanut allergy, M&M’s with traces of peanuts in Long Island, New York in 2011. Julie was diagnosed with cerebral palsy as an infant and was confined to a wheelchair.

Authorities have been searching for the toddler girl for over a month – she has just found alive! U.S. Marshalls tracked down baby Ava & her father in a small town in Mexico. Officials say her father smuggled her there by bus. Ava’s father, Brent Anderson, arrested for kidnapping and other serious charges.
