FULLERTON, CA — A young mother accused of stabbing her newborn daughter to death plead guilty Tuesday to second degree murder. In a deal with prosecutors, Yoselin Torres Tovar, 20, plead to one felony count of second-degree murder with a sentencing enhancement. She was initially charged with felony murder and child abuse.

According to ABC 7, a neighbor reported hearing the woman moaning, crying and making noises but he did not think it was anything as serious as what occurred. Moss’s family said that Rogers had insisted that Moss terminate the pregnancy but Moss refused.

Tessa Vanvlerah, 22, allowed Kenneth Kyle, a Californian college professor, to photograph, urinate on, rape and burn her 5-month-old daughter. According to STL Today, Vanvlerah’s attorney’s attempted to get her probation based on a psychological disorder. The judge was not lenient on the woman.

Cory Pingeton, an 18-year-old student at Franklin High School in Franklin, Mass., required medical attention after an unnamed suspect viciously attacked him in the school’s hallway. After fleeing the campus following the attack, the suspected assailant now faces criminal charges, WBZ-TV reports.

Sheriff Terry Stevens says Melissa Eaton, 48, of Lilbourn, Missouri allegedly carried on a sexual relationship with a teenage boy. According to court records juvenile authorities alerted investigators about the situation.

Sarasota, Florida — A grandmother and grandfather are facing numerous charges for towing a toy plastic car from behind their SUV… with their grandchild seated inside. According to the arrest report, a Sarasota deputy on patrol spotted the SUV on Sunday, pulling a small plastic Hot Wheels car with the 7-year-old girl inside. The toy car was connected to the SUV with dog leashes tied to the trailer hitch.

TUCSON, Ariz. — Tucson Police released surveillance video Friday of several potential witnesses who they want to speak to regarding the disappearance of six-year-old Isabel Celis. The video shows a group of five people – two men and three women – walking through a parking lot headed in the general direction of the Celis house after Midnight on April 21, the morning Isabel was reported missing. As of Sunday afternoon, police said they had identified and interviewed three of those people.

TACOMA—A Bonney Lake mother who prosecutors say repeatedly bleached her child’s eyes, causing permanent vision damage, was charged Monday with Assault of a Child in the First Degree. In May, 2011, the 15-month-old girl was airlifted from Tacoma to Harborview Medical Center after suffering a blow to the head. While treating her, medical staff noticed that a previously diagnosed eye condition had worsened. The victim was sleeping up to 22 hours a day because exposure to sunlight had become extremely painful.

MORGAN HILL, CA — The reward has been increased from $10,000 to $25,000 in the search for missing 15-year-old Sierra LaMar. Authorities believe the Morgan Hill teenager was abducted from her home on March 16. The high school cheerleader was last seen by her mother at 6 a.m. on March 16, before she left for classes at Sobrato High School.

Joshua Waguespack, 33, an 8th grade math teacher at St. Peter’s Catholic school in DeLand, Florida, planted small cameras in pens and left them in the girl’s dressing room. According to The Daytona Beach News Journal, Waguespack lost his iPad at a Walmart when a woman found it, along with the naked pictures of 12 and 13 year-old girls that he uploaded from the small camera.
