A REWARD is on offer for information about the mystery disappearance of a teenage girl who went missing from a bikie clubhouse more than a decade ago. Kathleen Harris, 15, was last seen on Sunday, May 31, 1999, at her home which adjoined the Rebels clubhouse in Huskisson, NSW. She was reported missing by her friend Clinton Hanlon, a member of the bikie gang, and her father after she failed to show up at a pre-arranged meeting with friends the following day. Her purse and keys had been left in her home.

A mother and her roommate stand accused of starving one of her children to death, chaining the girl and her younger siblings to radiators and leaving their broken bones untreated. Venette Ovilde, 30, and her friend Myriam Janvier, 24, both pleaded not guilty on Tuesday to the murder of eight-year-old Christiana Glenn, who was found dead in May 2011 at their apartment. Acquaintances said the death occurred after the two women began acting increasingly bizarrely as they were swayed by the religious teachings of a local man, who made them fast and wear all white.

A mother of three from Houston, Texas, has been accused of killing her four-year-old son by whipping him to death after the boy wet himself in the family car over the weekend. Vastie Coleman, 27, has been charged with injury to a child with serious bodily injury and was ordered held without bond on Tuesday in the Harris County Jail in connection to the death of Kyron Barnes.

The State Senate on Wednesday unanimously approved Erin’s Law, legislation sponsored by John Proos that’s designed to help prevent child sexual abuse. EVANSDALE, Iowa — Searchers are using scent dogs as they look for any signs of two young girls who were last seen on Friday, riding their bikes near a lake in Evansdale, Iowa. On Tuesday, officials confirmed that bloodhounds brought in by the FBI picked up the girls’ scent near the trail where their bicycles were found, but they will not elaborate.

A 10-year-old girl and her 2-year-old brother were walking back from buying sweets in South Philadelphia when a man suddenly came from behind and tried to make off with the terrified girl. He placed his hand over her mouth lifted her from the ground and, as the girl’s brother screamed, the man stumbled as he tried to drag the girl towards his car. After struggling for a brief period, the man eventually gave up and fled the scene.

Jeffrey and Rebecca Trebilcock were accused by their 14-year-old adopted son of starving and abusing him and his four adopted siblings while the biological children in the family were given proper food. The children were taken from their home in Longview, Washington after the eldest adopted son was rushed to the hospital for a slowing heart beat and malnutrition.

Jonathan Lane, 33, flew from Arizona to Tampa, Florida, in order to have sexual relations with a physically disabled 14-year-old girl, who is confined to a wheelchair. Lane, as reported by the Huffington Post, booked the tickets for his flight using the teen’s grandmother’s credit card.
