A prisoner told a court today he stabbed notorious child killer Roy Whiting in both eyes because he was a “dirty little nonce”. Double murderer Gary Vinter, 42, sneaked into Whiting’s jail cell and attacked him with a sharpened plastic toilet brush handle. The tip of his makeshift weapon broke and left a piece of plastic in his victim’s eye socket, the court heard. A 13-year-old girl was shot and killed Tuesday inside a school bus in a Miami suburb, police said. Police said a male student was taken into custody in connection with the attack, but authorities haven’t released his name or age. The shooting occurred on a private bus while it was at intersection of 137th Avenue and Southwest 296th Street in Homestead, Fla., police told the Los Angeles Times.

Whenever I hear someone state there are options for women when they are being confronted by a potential rapist, a shiver runs down the length of my spine and a knot forms in the pit of my stomach. A married high school teacher in New York has been accused of having an on-going sexual relationship with a 16-year-old male student. Police say Lisa Footer, a 44-year-old Spanish teacher with two sons, was arrested in a convenience store parking lot during a sexual encounter with the teen in Canandaigua on Saturday. A brave teenage girl today told of how her father raped her in a sickening attack when she visited him for the weekend. Twisted Robert Hawksworth, 54, plied daughter Emily, then 17, with wine at his Derbyshire home before putting her to bed and then climbing in with her. The teenager had been sexually abused by Hawksworth since the age of 14, but had remained silent until the rape last year, when she reported the crime to the police.

Michigan State Police are searching for a suspect who, they say, attempted to kidnap a 13-year-old boy Thursday evening in Armada Township. Police say the boy was approached by a man in a 2002 or 2003 maroon Ford Taurus near North Avenue and Irwin Street. The man tried to entice the boy to get into the vehicle. The boy refused to get inside and ran home where he told his parents what happened. Meanwhile, the man fled in the vehicle traveling northbound on North Avenue.
