STEWARTSTOWN, N.H. — Investigators have seized a pick-up truck driven by the step-father of Celina Cass, the 11-year girl found dead in the Connecticut River a week after she disappeared from her house. Police loaded the silver pickup on a flatbed while executing a search warrant at the family’s home in West Stewartstown.

A television producer says he has scored the first television interview with Casey Anthony, a $1-million deal arranged when he met her in a Palm Springs hotel. Al Taylor divulged few details about the alleged agreement, which he announced Wednesday by telephone on Dr. Drew Pinksy’s HLN show. Anthony, 25, was recently acquitted in the death of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee, in an investigation and trial that garnered national attention.

PHOENIX, Arizona — Police have arrested four people in the death of a 10-year-old girl who suffocated inside a footlocker used to punish her for taking a popsicle without permission. The victim, 10-year-old Ame Deal, was found dead on July 12 in the home where she lived with an aunt, grandmother and two cousins following what police said at the time may have been the tragic ending to a game of hide-and-seek.

Joshua Carrier, a former Colorado Springs police officer, was already facing allegations of molesting six children with 78 child sex assault counts, but is now accused of sexually assaulting a total of 22 children and faces 189 counts of felony child sex assault, Fox31 reports. In May, The Huffington Post reported that Carrier was arrested for buying child pornography and then re-arrested a week later on suspicion of sexually assaulting several children.

ST. PAUL, MN – A 19-year-old teen is being treated for second and third-degree burns, after his mother’s boyfriend allegedly attacked him. Most of Antoine Willis’ body is covered with band-aids and gauze, protecting burns he says were caused by his mother’s boyfriend of more than eight years. “He was just walking around the house with hammers and stuff still talking stuff like, ‘don’t go to sleep, don’t go to sleep,'” Willis said. Willis says the threats began after he intervened when 54-year-old Curtis Reed was threatening his mother with a knife. That’s when Reed turned on him and after he fell asleep and that’s when Reed lit him on fire.

GREENVILLE — The Hunt County Sheriff’s Office has released the audio recording of the 911 call in which 2-year-old Brandon Herrara was reported dead. The recording can be heard here. The Hunt County Sheriff’s Office says capital murder charges were filed Tuesday against 23-year-old Arturo Vega and 22-year-old Gabriela Ortiz, both of Campbell.

NORMAN, Oklahoma — Police have arrested a Moore father for allegedly allowing a man to fondle his young, autistic son while masturbating. Police say Jonathan Mark Smith listed the ad for oral sex on Craigslist, and at least one man responded to it. Teddy Dean Davis is accused of showing up at Smith’s door back in January, and asking to see the 6-year-old boy.

A toddler who was hospitalized this week in a child abuse case has died, and his 22-year-old mother is charged with murder. On Sunday, Shannon Shmir Merriman called 911 to report that her 1-year-old son had slipped and hit his head at her apartment on High Meadow Lane, in southwest Charlotte. The boy, Marcus Markee Davis Jr., was taken to Carolinas Medical Center, said Charlotte-Mecklenburg police. Merriman was taken into custody early Wednesday at the hospital and initially charged with felony child abuse inflicting serious injury.
