A 59-year-old Kentucky man has been charged with rape and incest after allegedly having sex with a 4-year-old girl.
Jack Eagle, of Shepherdsville, is accused of forcing himself on the relative for around seven and a half years.

The harrowing story of an alleged gang rape of a seven-year-old girl in Trenton, N.J., was shocking, stunning, distressing, hurtful. How could such a thing happen and why are Black girls and children so often victimized and abused?
According to the authorities, a 15-year-old girl went to a party in a vacant apartment and her seven-year-old sister tagged along. The older girl, who is still under the age of consent, reportedly had sex with some of the males in the apartment and then let the men pay to touch the little child.
The touching turned to outright rape, according to the police. At Final Call press time, four minors and three adults had been charged in the alleged crime.

Parents in Cambridge are demanding answers after a worker at what’s supposed to be an afterschool safe haven was charged with child rape.Christopher Bradshaw, 24, was an assistant teacher in charge of more than a dozen kindergarten students at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Open School’s extended day program.
He was arrested on accusations of raping a 9-year-old boy earlier in the month at a friend’s home.As students left school Monday, parents arrived for the special informational meeting about the recent termination of Bradshaw, a city employee working at the school for the last two years.

A Fayette County jury convicted a Somerville man last week of three counts of rape of a child and one count of sexual exploitation of a minor by electronic means with more than 100 images, according to a news release today from the office of District Attorney General Michael Dunavant.
Ernest Lee “Dan” Jennings was originally indicted in November and charged with rape of three boys under the age of 13, which occurred between May and September, the release says.

A Multnomah County jury has found the Boy Scouts of America negligent for allowing an assistant scoutmaster who molested children to continue volunteering in the 1980s.

A Salem-Keizer school volunteer has been arrested on accusations of sexually abusing a 13-year-old middle school student at a music competition.
Salem police arrested Darian Seth Laughlin, 19, of Salem on Friday on a charge of first-degree sexual abuse, said Salem police spokesman Lt. Dave Okada.

A 62-year-year-old school bus driver with no apparent prior criminal history was charged Monday with sexually assaulting four preteen girls.
Jimmy Jerome James of Two Harbors is charged with four counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct. According to the criminal complaint, James placed his hands under the girls’ clothes and touched the girls on their buttocks, chests and “private parts.”James’ colleagues said they found the allegations hard to believe.

Prescott police continue to investigate allegations of child abuse made Friday, April 2, by a parent whose child attends Prescott Child Development Center, a spokesman said.
Officers served a search warrant at the childcare center, 1045 W. Whipple St., looking for evidence, said Lt. Andy Reinhardt, spokesman for the Prescott Police Department.

AURORA | A father whose 6-month-old daughter drowned in the family’s bathtub last summer has been charged in connection with her death, police announced Tuesday.
Gregory Scott Witherspoon, 27, is charged with felony child abuse resulting in death, police said.

A Westminster man faces charges in the rape, beating and burning of the 21-month-old daughter of his girlfriend, Carroll County police said.
Ryan C. Gifford, 23, was arrested Sunday and charged with first- and second-degree assault and first- and second-degree child abuse. He was being held in lieu of $500,000 bond.
The child, who police said had burns and extensive abrasions on her body, was in intensive care at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

A Calvert man accused of badly burning a 2-year-old girl has been arrested in Robertson County. Brandon Deon Stewart, 25, was taken into custody Sunday night after Bryan police had posted a bulletin asking for the public’s help in tracking him down. Authorities say Stewart was left in charge of babysitting the child Wednesday. They say when the mother returned from work, the girl was seriously injured. She was taken to the St. Joseph Regional Health Center Emergency Room where she was treated for liquid burns to her legs and genitals. She was then air lifted to Shriners Hospital in Galveston where she’s currently in stable condition. |

Springfield, MA – Springfield businessman, Jeremiah J. Salamon, was indicted on federal charges for advertising, possession and distribution of child porn. He shared 313 images with an undercover FBI agent while using the screen name “Like22look”. The ages of the children were 1 to 5, shown engaging in sadistic sexual acts with adults.

His head shaking and arched downward, a Mississippi man accused of fatally battering his girlfriend’s 22-month-old daughter appeared near tears Thursday afternoon at his jailhouse court hearing in Covington.
Wearing shackles and a black-and-white striped jail jumpsuit, Andrew Roberts, 20, nibbled and sucked on his lips as he stood uncertainly in front of Commissioner Daniel Foil for his 72-hour hearing at the St. Tammany Parish jail. His eyes wet, he timidly answered the questions posed to him.
Foil told Roberts that he faced a charge of second-degree murder, that his $500,000 cash, property or surety bond would stand, and that a public defender would be assigned to represent him.
Roberts, of Kiln, Miss., had been baby-sitting Rubie Boland of the Pearl River area while her mother, Helen Teal, was at work on the evening of April 1. Authorities said he picked the toddler up by the feet, shook her and slammed her head against the floor repeatedly, apparently because he was having a bad day. Rubie was pronounced brain dead and removed from life support the next day.
Roberts had dated Teal for about three months and had baby-sat Rubie on nearly a dozen previous occasions, authorities said. He is not Rubie’s biological father, according to authorities.

The adoptive family was found guilty of child abuse, but the girls were returned to their home.
FAIRVIEW, OK — The four Liberian-born girls have been removed from the home of a couple who were convicted of abusing their sister, a source tells News9.com.
Melvin Johnson, attorney for the girls, says Judge Mike Warner signed the order removing the girls from the home.
Attorney General Drew Edmondson’s office sought to terminate the parental rights of Ardee and Penny Tyler after the Major County couple were convicted of the abuse.
