635797279062389891-Arthur-Martrell-McDowellMACON, Georgia – Bibb sheriff’s deputies are searching for an accused child molester and rapist. According to the sheriff’s office, investigators have arrest warrants out for 24-year-old Arthur Martrell McDowell. He’s wanted for aggravated child molestation and statutory rape involving a 14-year-old girl.  Investigators tell 41NBC the incidents happened in July and August of this year at an undisclosed location in Bibb County. Rise In Child Abuse Witchcraft Claims

1364010034936An increasing number of child abuse cases involving accusations of witchcraft and exorcism are being reported to police. In one incident, a boy of nine was called a “devil child” and thrown out of his home by his parents, detectives revealed. A specialist unit in London recorded 46 alleged crimes linked to faith last year- more than double the number in 2013, an investigation found. Project Violet, the specialist faith-based abuse team within the Metropolitan Police Service, has identified 60 incidents so far in 2015. The figures relate to crime reports flagged as involving abuse linked to faith or belief, and many of the cases involve children. Man Who Raped, Killed His 19-DAY Old Newborn Gets 50-LIFE

489709_1280x720A Newhall man was sentenced to 50 years to life in state prison Tuesday for murdering his 19-day-old daughter in January, officials said. Matthew Brendan Warner, 30,  killed his daughter, Ellorah Rose Warner, at their home while the baby’s mother was at work on Jan. 23, prosecutors said. Warner then claimed the baby had been kidnapped, which prompted a large-scale search operation for the newborn. Before the search for the child began, neighbors said they had seen Warner walk outside the couple’s home carrying a bundle while the baby’s mother was at work. 2D49477A00000578-3267872-image-a-2_1444515872799BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The victims of a Florida woman who allegedly killed her own children are said to have told their mother how much they loved her before they died. Jessica McCarty, 33, told police officers that she didn’t deserve to live after the alleged deed, for which she faces the death penalty and three first-degree murder charges in Brevard County. Police say that Lacey McCarty, 7, was drowned in a bathtub, and that her brothers Phillip McCarty, 6, and Christopher Swist, five months, were strangled with cords around their necks. New court documents, including handwritten notes from the officers who arrested her after she tried to take her own life with a knife,  reveal what she said in the aftermath of the killings in March. img-Babies-injuries-were-found-during-hospital-visitARKANSAS – Boone County prosecutors said two people charged with child abuse admitted to taking out their rage out on a seven-week-old and 14-month-old multiple times. Rachel Clayton and Steven Simmons are now in jail, and newly-released court documents reveal gruesome details. Investigators said Rachel Clayton and Steven Simmons lived in a trailer in Omaha, Arkansas, without running water or electricity.  They said the two repeatedly abused two babies:  one just 14-months-old and the other just seven-weeks-old. Parents Sue School Over Bullied Son’s Suicide

lamar-hawkins-iii-suicide-l-ba6e9a56b3403a76FLORIDA – A lawsuit filed Monday against the a Florida school district alleges that teachers and administrators didn’t do enough to prevent bullying that led to a 14-year-old boy’s suicide last year. Lamar Hawkins III, of Sanford, killed himself Sept. 10, 2014 with his father’s gun in a bathroom stall at Greenwood Lakes Middle School in Lake Mary. Attorney Matt Morgan said Lamar went missing for hours and school officials didn’t look for him— even after another student found a spent gun shell casing in the school’s bathroom and reported it to a teacher. Three Sisters Track Down Pedophile Stepdad On Facebook, Seek Justice

He has now been jailed. The girls kept the secret of their abuse from one another for 10 years but when they finally shared the terrible truth, they turned detective to hunt down the man who destroyed their childhood. Child Rapist Sentenced to LIFE In Prison

jeremy-scott-ebfb9a0093f5133eAKRON, Ohio — An Akron man will spend the rest of his life in prison for sexually abusing a young girl for more than five years. Summit County Common Pleas Judge Tammy O’Brien on Thursday sentenced Jeremy Scott, 35, to life in prison, with parole eligibility in 120 years. A courtroom full of spectators cheered as sheriff’s deputies led Scott from the courtroom in handcuffs. Man Found Guilty of Running Child Sex Trafficking Ring

8803433_GA Millington man has been found guilty of running a teenage sex trafficking ring. A jury found 51-year-old Michael Lilley guilty on multiple counts of sex trafficking minors, along with other offenses. “Michael Lilley coerced vulnerable, underage teens into sacrificing their bodies sexually for his own monetary gain,” U.S. Attorney Edward Stanton said. “Because a jury recognized how reprehensible his criminal actions were, Lilley will now be spending many years in a federal prison with no chance of parole.” READ MORE HERE
