NEWBURYPORT, Mass. — A teen mother is being held without bail after she was accused of poisoning the child of another young mother. A home for pregnant and parenting teens on Low Street in Newburyport was the scene of the crime, according to police. “It’s alleged that a juvenile female with a young child that was at the establishment had taken a substance and added it to the formula of another female’s child out there,” said Thomas Howard, city marshal of the Newburyport Police Department. Grandmother and adult son ‘kill themselves and three young children’ by pumping car full of carbon monoxide after bitter custody battle

Caught up in a family disagreement over who should care for three young children, a grandmother and her son barricaded themselves and the kids in a garage and filled it with deadly carbon monoxide gas. All five died. Police spent Tuesday trying to explain the heartbreaking scene discovered a day earlier at the home of 54-year-old Sandy Ford and her son Andy in a quiet Toledo neighborhood. Firefighter’s using a sledgehammer broke down the garage door to find the bodies of 5-year-old Madalyn Hayes, her 6-year-old brother Logan and 10-year-old sister Paige slumped inside a car, along with their grandmother and uncle. INGLEWOOD — A man accused of sexually assaulting a mentally disabled teenager on an MTA bus pleaded not guilty Wednesday. Kerry Trotter, 20, is charged with one count each of forcible rape and rape of an incompetent person and two counts of sexual penetration by a foreign object in connection to the Nov. 7 incident. Mother, Daughters Found Dead in Bedroom Closet

MIAMI, Fla. — Police are investigating the deaths of a 29-year-old woman and her two young daughters found dead inside a closet at their home near Miami. Police were called after a neighbor smelled an foul odor and went inside the house to find its source. Delco mother charged with murder in infant’s heroin death

The baby was born addicted to heroin. And 11 months later, Niccolo Varner died from ingesting heroin that his mother either gave him or left out for him to find, officials said. Christine Rivero, 29, of Collingdale, stood quietly in shackles on Friday morning before Delaware County Court Judge Horace Z. Davis as he read her her rights. She was charged with third-degree murder, involuntary manslaughter, aggravated assault, endangering the welfare of children, and other crimes in the death of her infant son, and was remanded to the Delaware County jail with no bail. WASHINGTON – The U.S. Marshals Service added a convicted child predator to its 15 Most Wanted fugitive list today. Clyde Hall Jr., a career sex offender, who is wanted in the Northern District of New York for violation of federal supervised release, failed to report to a halfway house in New York after serving a 25-month prison sentence for violations of the Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act at the Butner Federal Correctional Institute in North Carolina. Hall has a violent and abusive criminal history dating back to 1985 with prior convictions for assault and multiple sex offenses. The family of Alicia Moore says they tried to tell Greenville police something was wrong when the young girl didn’t come home Friday night. Instead they were told to wait until Monday and that she was considered a run-away.  The family says they tried to use social media to get help to locate the young girl, and even passed out flyers. On Tuesday the body of the 16 year-old was found inside a furniture trunk.  Authorities then held a press conference saying they will investigate the case as a homicide and that the body had a form of trauma. MORENO VALLEY: Suspects sought in attempted kidnappings

Moreno Valley police are looking for three different men suspected in several attempted kidnappings of girls walking home in Moreno Valley. Police said the incidents do not appear to be related, but each involved a man trying to lure teen girls away or into their vehicles. Two foster parents from Ankeny, IA, Paul and JoAnn Drake, were arrested for false imprisonment and neglect of an abandoned person, after they forced their 13-year-old daughter and 14-year-old son to live in the basement. One of the children eventually informed a school employee that they had been forced to live in the basement as a form of punishment.
