PORTLAND, Ore. — A 66-year-old man arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting five young women (minor children) over the past ten years in Oregon, may also have victims in California.

ONTARIO — A Catholic priest in San Bernardino County is accused of sexually abusing two boys within the last two years. Rev. Alex Castillo was removed from duty as an active priest in June. He served at four churches within the Diocese of San Bernardino, including Our Lady of Guadelupe in Ontario.

MORENO VALLEY — The death of a one month old infant Tuesday is being investigated by the Moreno Valley Police Department as well Riverside County Central Homicide Unit detectives amid reports the baby may have been beaten.

A Zion woman accused of fatally beating a 5-year-old was dating the boy’s father and was caring for the child, police said today.

Yolanda Jones, 35, is being held on $3 million bond after being charged with first-degree murder in the Sept. 6 death of Tommy Davis III.

Police said Jones brought the boy’s lifeless body to a Zion hospital on Sept. 6 just as she was going into labor to deliver her sixth child.

Liandro And April Flores – Jailed After Paramedics Arrive To Find Stoned 2-Year-Old

Forney, Texas (The Weekly Vice) – Liandro Flores, 31, and April Flores, 24, were jailed Wednesday after they allegedly got their 2-year-old stoned to the point of being unresponsive.

According to the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office, paramedics were called to the couple’s home in late August, where they found an unresponsive 2-year-old child. The toddler was rushed to Children’s Medical Center in Dallas, where the child was determined to under the heavy influence of marijuana.

LEESBURG, Fla. (WOFL, FOX 35) – A Central Florida man was arrested Saturday after sheriff’s investigators said he used BB gun to motivate a boy under the age of 16 to perform wind sprints.

Robert Barker, 41, was charged with child abuse after investigators said neighbors saw the man forcing the boy to run wind sprints while he fired a BB gun at him. The boy’s exact age and relationship to Barker aren’t being disclosed in order to protect the boy’s identity.

EVERETT — A former cheerleading coach was charged with three counts of child rape Thursday for allegedly having a sexual relationship over many years with one of his students beginning when the Everett girl was about 13.

Prosecutors filed the charges against Michael Sijera Cielo, 36, of Fife. He is accused of having sex with the girl several times between 2006 and 2008.

The girl told detectives that the sexual contact started during the summer going into her eighth grade year.

A man accused of breaking into a Brisbane home and raping a three-year-old girl also used a digital camera to take photos of him abusing her, a court has been told.

The 31-year-old man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is facing the first day of a trial in Brisbane District Court today.

Kristina Davies, 19, and Ricky Winter, 23, inflicted terrible injuries on the youngsters, both aged under four, including fractured bones, bruises and bites to their private parts.

Winter will serve his sentence in an adult prison while Davies will spend two years in a youth institute.

One expert witness, a paediatrician, said the case was the worst he encountered in 30 years.

PRYOR — A Salina couple is in jail and facing charges of child abuse by injury and child neglect.

Brandon V. Clark, 22, and Amy Jo Bertrand, 26, were arrested following an investigation that began with an anonymous tip. Salina Police Detective Doug Inman said the tip came in around 10 a.m., on Wednesday.

“We received a report of a baby in a vehicle that appeared badly bruised around the head,” Inman said. Police began searching for the vehicle, eventually locating it on the 500 block of Whittington Street in Salina.

Cleveland, Ohio — More information released on the woman we covered back in August who was accused of beating her son with an iron. After 37-year-old Talthina Jackson found her her 15-year-old son on her computer, she accused him of stealing then choked him, hit him with her keys, an aerosol can and an iron. The bleeding boy ran to a neighbor who called police.
