Wrestling Leads To Child Abuse Charge
BRADENTON — A 48-year-old man was arrested Tuesday for wrestling with a child, the Bradenton Police Department reports. Jeffrey Johnson was arrested at about 11:15 p.m. when someone called police claiming to hear an argument going on in the backyard of the residence. Johnson told police he was teaching the male victim wrestling moves so he doesn’t get beaten up at school, a report said. The victim gave a different story.
