ELMHURST, QUEENS—A young mother is arrested after she gave birth in a hospital bathroom and dumped her newbown in the trash. Cops say Dawa Lama, 23, of Woodside was in the emergency room bathroom at Elmhurst General Hospital when she gave birth to a baby girl on Tuesday. She subsequently tossed the newborn into the bathroom’s trash can and left.
