Police urge woman to turn herself in
TORONTO—Police are urging a mother wanted in connection to a child abuse investigation to turn herself in. The 28-year-old woman is wanted on a charge of failing to provide the necessities of life to her seven-year-old daughter, who’s currently in hospital with serious injuries. Authorities announced on Wednesday that they were searching for Aela Medas and believed she was with her other, nine-year-old daughter. On Thursday police said they’d located the second child in good condition at a home in the Don Mills and Sheppard area, but continue to search for the mother. READ MORE HERE
