Vigil For Boy Killed on Halloween
LOS ANGELES (KTLA) — A vigil was held in South Los Angeles Saturday evening for Aaron Shannon Jr., the 5-year-old boy shot and killed on Halloween. Family members grieved the loss of Aaron as community leaders pledged to bring peace to the gang-ridden neighborhood. On Halloween, Aaron was dressed in a red-and-blue Spider-man costume, having his picture taken by his grandfather in the family yard, when shots rang out. Aaron was hit in the head.
