UK Pop Star Raped Child

A Ghanaian pop star who was extradited back to the UK to face child sex offences has been jailed for 12 years after he admitted two counts of raping a seven-year-old girl. Deeba Akyampong, aged 35, was returned to the UK in July to face allegations that he raped a child under the age of 13 between December 2004 and September 2008 when he was in the UK.
