OCALA – An Ocala police detective charged a 20-year-old woman Tuesday with child abuse after her 2-year-old child wandered onto a busy roadway.


According to officials, on May, two women were in a vehicle heading east on Northeast 14th Street approaching Northeast 25th Avenue when one of them saw a toddler walking between some bushes from the 14th Street Apartments toward the sidewalk.
