Cops: Students hack boy to death

ng_4_mugshotsFour Florida students allegedly hacked a 17-year-old boy to death with a machete and buried him in the woods before two of them had sex near his grave, police said. The students attended the Homestead Job Corps, a live-in school and vocational training program run by the U.S. Department of Labor. The suspects, Jonathan Lucas, 18, Desiray Strickland, 18, Kaheem Arbelo, 20, and Christian Colon, 19, allegedly planned the slaying of Jose Santos Amaya Guardado two weeks before carrying out the crime on June 28, according to an arrest report filed by the Miami Dade Police Department. The group allegedly lured Guardado into the woods, where he was ambushed and repeatedly struck with a machete.
