Reward issued for Tampa man in sex assault of minor
TAMPA — A $5,000 reward has been issued for a Tampa man wanted for the sexual assault of a minor. Christopher L. Jones, 37, is registered as a violent sex offender in the state of Florida and is required to wear an electronic GPS on his ankle. Police said Jones cut off his ankle monitoring system before fleeing to avoid being arrested on charges of sexual battery to a minor under the age of 12 and lewd and lascivious molestation of a family member.
