Within the last week Los Angeles channel 7 KABC news reported at least two severe cases of child abuse and neglect. On the internet I’ve come across numerous cases of child maltreatment, neglect, abuse and fatalities many never reach newsworthy attention. U.S Department of Health and Human Services Administration for Children & Families gives a very detailed report on child maltreatment.
