Remains of 14-YO Missing Girl, Chyenne Kircher, Found
The community is reacting to a new development in the case of teenage girl who went missing two years ago. Police announced Friday morning that they believe they have found the remains of 14-year-old Chyenne Kircher in the woods behind her home in East Dubuque. She disappeared in October of 2011, but a recent break in the case had agents with the FBI and Illinois State Police digging near the home where she lived with her mother, brother and stepfather. Earlier this week, they charged her stepfather with first degree murder. Terry Abbas is accused of strangling Chyenne, causing her death. While an autopsy will be conducted, police are convinced the remains belong to Chyenne. READ MORE HERE
