Felony charge for man in attempted rape of girl, 11-yrs old
Police: He may have victimized others.

An 18-year-old Butler man faces a felony charge after a state conservation officer broke up an alleged attempt to rape an 11-year-old girl. The incident took place Monday in the 3300 block of DeKalb County Road 63, according to Detective Adam D. Friedel of the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department. Conservation Officer Patrick Heidenreich was on patrol when he saw a parked vehicle near the Tri State Motorcycle Club and decided to investigate.
