Claims ‘job trauma’ led him to huge child porn collection

A former Connecticut police captain has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for what authorities say was one of the largest and most disturbing child pornography cases they’ve seen. Prosecutors say David Bourque was caught with more than 26,000 images and videos of child pornography on his computers that showed the sexual abuse of young boys, including infants and toddlers. Bourque apologized for his actions in court Friday saying he ‘spiraled out of control’ during the several months he was downloading and sharing the porn.
