Parents Sue After Classmates Find Dead Son’s Brain in a Jar
NEW YORK-– A Staten Island couple is suing New York City after their deceased son’s friends found his brain on display while on a field trip to a morgue. Andre and Korisha Shipley’s 17 year old son Jesse was killed in a car crash in 2005, and was buried in a local cemetery. The Shipleys had no idea their son’s brain was removed until his friends and classmates from Port Richmond High School visited a morgue as part of a field trip for the school’s forensic science club.
