Parents in Cambridge are demanding answers after a worker at what’s supposed to be an afterschool safe haven was charged with child rape.Christopher Bradshaw, 24, was an assistant teacher in charge of more than a dozen kindergarten students at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Open School’s extended day program.

He was arrested on accusations of raping a 9-year-old boy earlier in the month at a friend’s home.As students left school Monday, parents arrived for the special informational meeting about the recent termination of Bradshaw, a city employee working at the school for the last two years.
