Over 100 Thugs, Policeman in Child Sex Abuse Arrested
No fewer than 100 suspected political thugs known as Sarasuka in Bauchi State have been arrested by the police as part of its renewed effort to ensure a crime-free state. This is as a policeman with the Bauchi State command was arrested for sexually abusing children between the ages of nine and 12 years who he was alleged to have engaged in forceful anal sex. THISDAY checks revealed that at least six people have been killed in the last two weeks in bloody clashes by rival Sarasuka groups in the state capital. Our correspondent reports that the six were killed in Karofi Madaki, Wunti Market, and Corner Kwaila as a result of clashes between factions of Sarasuka in the last two weeks. READ MORE HERE
