Neighbor Helps Saves Child From Murder-Suicide
LANIER COUNTY, GA – Investigators are waiting for toxicology reports to confirm whether alcohol or drugs may have been involved in an attempted murder and suicide Saturday in Lanier County. Investigators say a father shot his daughter and wife, who survived, before he killed himself. “It was a sight I pray that nobody ever sees,” said neighbor Sarah Moyer. Moyer lives across the street from the Flynn family. Lanier County investigators say Saturday afternoon 50-year-old Mark Flynn shot his wife, 33-year-old Kathy Flynn, and their 5-year-old daughter at their home on Eleanor Place.
