A former teacher has been jailed for five years for stealing her own daughter’s identity to get multiple credit cards and run up thousands in debt. Rebecca Jean Ferguson posed as her daughter Caitlyn to apply for eight credit cards. Caityln Sigler, now aged 21, had no idea her mother was using her name and has been left with a damaged credit history and says her life has been ruined. She said she has been forced to live with friends as she is denied rental agreements and cannot secure loans and is subsequently unable to further her education. READ MORE HERE
