More than 10% of world’s population of children overall diagnosed with ADHD
Almost one in five high school boys has been diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) as well as 11 per cent of school age children overall, according to new research. Data compiled by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention and published in the New York Times found a staggering rise in the number of diagnoses over the last ten years. It raises the specter of thousands of children being placed on stimulant drugs like Adderal or Ritalin and questions whether diagnosis numbers are out of proportion to reality. READ MORE HERE
