Prosecutors: Man bludgeoned niece with hand scythe
HILLSBORO, Ohio – Bond has been set for a man accused of killing a family member. Matthew Pierson, 18, is charged with murder in the death of Jada Beth Williams. The 5-year-old girl was found dead in a garage on Sunday. Williams is Pierson’s niece. Sheriff’s deputies said they were called Sunday afternoon to a home in the 800 block of Flat Run Road, where they found the 5-year-old’s body in a garage with apparent wounds to her face and neck.
