AUBURN | Slumped down in his chair with his shoulders hunched, Robert Knapp spent most of his sentencing appearance Tuesday morning in Cayuga County Court staring blankly ahead. Knapp’s facial expression remained stoic as District Attorney Jon Budelmann discussed why the 37-year-old Locke man should spend a great portion of the rest of his life in prison for raping a 3-year-old girl.
