Man Goes to Prison on Child Sex Charges

SALISBURY, Md.- A former Delmar, Md. man was sentenced to 35 years in prison Thursday for sexually abusing a child more than a decade ago. Wicomico County State’s Attorney’s Office Davis Ruark said that in February of this year, the Delmar Police Department received a report of sexual abuse that occurred in the late 1990s.  The investigation was forward to S.A.R.A.H.’s house, the Wicomico County Child Advocacy Center. The now 25-year-old victim was interviewed and disclosed that she had been repeatedly sexually abuse by Thomas Edward Ingram from January 1997 January until August 1998. The victim came forward in January after viewing a program about sexual abuse, according to Ruark.
