Man Charged With Murder After Throwing Stone In Car, Killing Teen

Lexington, NC – The man who threw the paving stone into a car that killed 17-year-old Shelby Chisom has been charged with 1st-degree murder. Chisolm attended a party on Friday that spilled into the early morning hours of Saturday. As Chisom was leaving the party with several friends, Craver allegedly threw a 12 x 12 x 2 inch thick paving stone into the open  passenger window of the car she was in, striking her in the abdomen.
