Man Allegedly Beat 5-YO With Belt, Coat Hanger

CAPE CORAL -A Cape Coral man was arrested and charged with child abuse after his daughter claimed she was beaten with a belt and metal coat hanger, according to Cape Coral Police. On April 20th, a Lehigh Acres woman notified the Cape Coral Police Department that her 5-year-old daughter had been beaten by her father, Rickey Anthony Washington, 23, while she was visiting his Cape Coral home.
