Joe Paterno ‘would face criminal charges if he were still alive’: Report slams ‘powerful men at Penn State’ who turned a blind eye to Sandusky’s sexual abuse of boys
If legendary football coach Joe Paterno were still alive he would most likely be facing criminal charges for his part in the Jerry Sandusky child-sex scandal. The damning Freeh Report leaves no room for doubt that Paterno was certainly aware of allegations of Sandusky abusing young boys in 1998 and may in fact have assisted in covering up reports of the molestation.
