MOULTRIE — A man who is thought to have fathered up to eight children with his daughter pleaded guilty this week to two counts of incest. Ruben Fernando-Lopez, 42, is scheduled for sentencing on Sept. 30. He could receive a minimum of 20 years or up to 60 years in prison, as each count carries a 10- to 30-year sentence. Law enforcement began investigating Fernando-Lopez after his daughter gave birth in Albany to a premature child who was born on June 12. The baby died a few days later. READ MORE HERE
