House Clears Legislation for the Victims of Child Abuse Act
The House on Monday cleared legislation to reauthorize the Victims of Child Abuse Act for the president’s signature. Passed by voice vote, the measure, S. 1799, would authorize $15 million annually through fiscal 2018 for child abuse prevention programs, including grants to train attorney prosecuting cases and develop investigations.
